Anambra State Wins All Nigerian State Chemistry Competition Held At Abuja – BBC Reports

Anambra state emerges first in the concluded All Nigerian States Chemistry competition. The students that represented the State are from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK) in Anambra State.

Anambra has vindicated itself as the state with intellectuals by coming first in the Chemistry competition which every states in Nigeria participated.

This news was reported by BBC Igbo News Broadcast in the late hours of Tuesday 23rd of April 2021.

According to them, they revealed that this competition was organized by a committee named ‘Chemistry society of Nigeria(CSN).

All States In Nigeria participated in the competition.

The Children that represented Anambra state were Victor Onwuka and Onyinye Okafor. They both emerged as winners in both Male and Female section of the exam respectively.

Victor and Onyinye are from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. They represented the whole of Anambra state in that competition.

Victor accumulated 92% While Onyinye Accumulated 87% for Male and Female section respectively.

In his vote of Thanks, the vice chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Charles Esimone revealed that these two Children have raised the Anambra dignity and that of UNIZIK to the Apogee.

He advised the winners saying that they have started a journey to greatness and as such, they ought to be focused and careful.
